This is a quick note to advise you of the new situation in Olney. As you know, we were forced to abandon our Motorama a couple of years ago, when the Olney Fiesta was cancelled. Because we relied on the Fiesta to accommodate our Motorama show, we were left without a venue in which to exhibit.
However, there is some good news to report. The Fiesta has officially been declared dead, but its reincarnation is now alive and well. The annual Olney Raft Race will be held on Sunday June 29th, and we have been invited to run our 2008 Motorama in conjunction with that, and together with all the other associated shows and contributors.
Knowing that you all said how much you enjoyed the Motorama, it gives me a great deal of pleasure to invite you all to join us again. I have attached an entry form, and look forward to receiving them back from you in the near future. The old entry forms have unfortunately been lost in the mists of time (and my computer) so I have tried to devise a new form. It may not be exactly the same as the one you are used to, but I can always amend it later if necessary. Sorry about the short notice, but I have only just been approached with this offer.
As before, I am open to any (sensible) suggestions, and look forward to seeing you all again in the summer.
