It started with a car washer!

Once upon a time, in a place called Great Linford, there lived a man with a problem or two.

His house had 6 adults living in it, who each had a car along with a couple of other classic cars. To clean all these cars, an investment was made in a jet washer, but where to store it so that it was always on hand. A cupboard on the front drive would not look right, so after a little bit of fabrication, plumbing, and electric's, a dummy petrol pump was created.

Next came a dilemma, how could he get recompense from his Brother In Law for having to pay to park when visiting him in London, after all said Brother In Law was in charge of parking in Mill Hill where he lived. The answer, purchase a parking meter off of EBay and insist that the Brother in Law Pay to Park when ever he visited. And he does pay.

One day, during a break between contracts, this man was bored and spent a lot of time browsing EBay, on one of his visits he notices a plastic replica of a post box for £70, what! £70, he could make one for a lot less. So he did out of scrap wood and paint, and it even fooled the Post Man who wanted to know where he had pinched it from.

During another break between contracts, he got fed up with seeing a black gate to the side of the garage, and decided that it would look better as a telephone box. True to form, very soon it did. Now all it needs is a picture of Superman changing to finish it off.

Time has moved on with the addition of a Christmas present in the form of a Castrol Oil sign, and a suggestion by one of the neighbours to add a Police Box for the side gate to the right of the house. Watch this space...

NOTE: He denies being eccentric, well maybe just a little.
