Unfortunately I have not been able to attend any of the MKCCC meets (apologies) ... due to work but mainly due to the wedding car business, there is not a Saturday off in June, July, August or September consequently Friday night has become car prep night, again this week it is unlikely that I will be able to attend the MKCCC meet as I have to clean the cars from Friday's wedding and get them ready for Saturday's.
It is nice to receive your emails though to keep me up to date with everything (thanks). We have managed to attend a couple of Sunday events including competing in the Brooklands Double-Twelve event .................... in a Roadster, this included Brooklands test Hill - twice ! - Yes in a Roadster (first gear in places - 1 in 4 hill) !

With the 'Dickie' seats the Triumph is actually a 5-seater vehicle and we have several wedding bookings with it this year, so I have now removed the spare wheel and set the 'Dickie' seats back a little bit to make a little more room for the wedding gown. We have replaced the carpet and in addition we have made a 'step / box' for the bride / groom to assist in getting them in and out of the vehicle easier. It seems to work well and the car is proving popular to those couples that are looking for a unique 'photogenic' wedding car. I hope to meet up with you again soon.
