Visit to the Silbury Group of artists
A couple of weeks ago, 5th July, Keith and I
were invited along by the Silbury Group to transport a group of international
artists from the Open University to a symposium at Warren Farm.
Keith Turned up in his Singer 9 Roadster along with myself in the Bond Bug and a contingent from the Barrel Bikers. Along with a Limo, Rolls Royce and mini bus.
Following the usual speeches at the OU, we convoyed to Warren Farm for a welcome evening Bar-b- Q with live music. One of the visitors, I believe she was from Poland, did a terrific set singing and playing her acoustic Guitar, I could not understand a word but she almost put a very professional folk quartet to shame.
We returned on 19th for a viewing of the art created during the symposium, unfortunately, I still hadn't downloaded the pictures from Newport Pagnel carnival, so I only had limited space on my digital camera. I chose to take pictures of my favorite works, I don't know the artists name but there is a picture of him and his wife taken from some distance away.
