To create a pop up window when you select (HREF) an object, you will require code to be entered into the following:

Header - sets the popup window format and variables
Body Entry - defines the object to be opened in the popup window and the popup window variables

Header
Enter the following code into the header:

<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="javascript">
<!--
function attic(page,winw,winh,sbar) {
   end=",toolbar=no,menubar=no,scrollbars="+sbar+",resizeable=no,location=no,directories=no,status=no\')"
   OpenWindow=eval("window.open(\'graphics/"+page+".jpg\',\'"+page+"\',config=\'width="+winw+",height="+winh+end)
}
//-->
</SCRIPT>

Page
The page (+page+) value may be preceeded by the path to the file location and is followed by the file type. In this example we have used a jpeg. As this fuction only opens files of a particular type, should you require to open files of different formats, a function must be created for each file format type, for example:

<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="javascript">
<!--
function attic(page,winw,winh,sbar) {
   end=",toolbar=no,menubar=no,scrollbars="+sbar+",resizeable=no,location=no,directories=no,status=no\')"
   OpenWindow=eval("window.open(\'"+page+".htm\',\'"+page+"\',config=\'width="+winw+",height="+winh+end)
}
//-->
</SCRIPT>

<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="javascript">
<!--
function attic(page,winw,winh,sbar) {
   end=",toolbar=no,menubar=no,scrollbars="+sbar+",resizeable=no,location=no,directories=no,status=no\')"
   OpenWindow=eval("window.open(\'graphics/"+page+".gif\',\'"+page+"\',config=\'width="+winw+",height="+winh+end)
}
//-->
</SCRIPT>

winw,winh
the windows width (+winw+) and windows hight (+winh+) are defines in pixels

sbar
The scrollbar may be set to yes or no, auto will not work

Body Entry
The following entry example will open a file 1.jpg in a window 300 pixels by 200 pixels without a scrollbar:

<a href="javascript:attic('1',300,200,'no')">select here</a>
