PERSONAL PROFILE
A competent multi skilled technical professional with
a first class track record. Specialising in solutions management through
business analysis, documentation, information management, training,
and the delivery of hardware, software, and process solutions.
In the industry since 1972. Originally a BT Transmission Network
Engineer and Trainer, becoming a Business Analyst,
Project Manager, and Quality (QA) manager for BT Private
Services - Quality, Systems, and Strategy in 1986, leaving BT
in 1994 to start Quality ITC consultants Limited.
I began specialising in Information Management as a Technical Author,
Writer, and Communicator in the 1980s, initially developing
Network solutions, Mainframe CRM applications and network solutions,
then distributed systems, desktop and hand help client solutions from
the 1990s.
Nowadays I tend to split my time between Business Analysis, QA, Technical
Authoring and Training. This includes Bushiness Process Redesign, Change
Management, Internal Company Quality Auditing, testing, documentation
and training for Network and Server Hardware and software solutions.
Although this is predominantly for Telcos and large network companies,
I have also worked for SMEs and charities.
I am a Fellow of the Institute of Scientific and Technical Communicators,and
a certified ISO9000:2000 Internal Quality auditor.
